The Path to Urban Evolutions

After a fire nearly destroyed our 1890's farmhouse, Jeff and I began our hunt for architectural materials that would restore our home to its original character and integrity. As our collection of doors, moldings and tin ceilings grew, we found ourselves helping friends and downtown business owners with their own restoration projects.

This local success and our love for creating something new and surprising out of vintage materials propelled us into launching the Urban Evolutions reclaimed building materials, fixtures and our line of furnishings and accessories for homes across the country.

We are amazed and proud of the company we've created, the friends and artisans we employ and the rich history and craftsmenship of these reclaimed materials that go into each piece.
